Gimenez didn't train Friday due to ankle pain, and his presence in Sunday's game against Cape Verde is uncertain, according to Joaquin Pisa of El Observador.
Analysis: Gimenez didn't play in the opener against Saudi Arabia, and based on this latest setback, it wouldn't be surprising if he's on the bench again. The idea would be to have the Atletico Madrid defender as fit as possible for the clash against Spain on Friday, June 26.
