Whips in five crosses
Hakimi recorded two shots and five crosses in Friday's 1-0 win over Scotland.
Analysis: Hakimi was not too much of a nuisance for Scotland Friday despite his usual presence on the right flank, as both of his shots were off target. He would still win a few duels and complete 75 passes as he is the centerpiece of the team, just not earning as many crucial chances as he would like. He would still take three corners that led to his five crosses, adding value with his set-pieces. He remains one of the most dangerous attacking full-backs as the World Cup progresses, likely to have his moment of the tournament soon.
Active going forward in draw
Hakimi recorded three shots (zero on goal), four crosses (two accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Brazil.
Analysis: Hakimi had the tough task of dealing with Vinicius Junior defensively, but he wasn't the one to blame for the Brazilian goal. Hakimi made his presence felt as a viable attacking outlet, taking multiple shots, creating chances and crossing the ball into the box every time he had the chance. The PSG right-back will be an important figure on offense in the upcoming games against Scotland and Haiti, where he shouldn't have many defensive responsibilities.
